The pros and cons of flying on points: Cons: all our friends were on a direct AirFrance flight and were already in Paris while we had a three hour layover in Frankfurt. Pros: We caught up on our sleep in reclining seats in business class and spent our layover in the Lufthansa Lounge with free wifi and cappuccinos. Next, a commuter jet to Paris. Business Class handled here by seating us in aisle and window with the middle seat empty. A drape over the seat back says “Ihr Freiraum Your Space.” Works for me!
Amazing feat! All our luggage arrived with us. I think that is a first. Car is not as big as we might need, but has roof potential so might be OK. Hotel room is TINY, but clean and quiet and close to start.
Paris tomorrow!
